No veterinarian-client-patient relationship

Use of PetCare AI does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) of any kind. A VCPR can only be established by a licensed veterinarian following a proper clinical examination of your pet.

AI hallucinations and model limitations

PetCare AI uses a large language model (LLM). LLMs can generate information that sounds authoritative but is factually wrong, outdated, or not applicable to your specific situation — this is sometimes called a “hallucination”. The Service cannot detect when this occurs and has no mechanism to alert you when output is incorrect.

Never make decisions about your pet's health based solely on content generated by this Service. All output should be treated as a starting point for discussion with a licensed veterinarian, not as clinical guidance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PetCare AI Pty Ltd (ABN 20 697 272 647 · ACN 697 272 647) — together with its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates — accept no liability for any harm, loss, injury, or death to any animal, or for any veterinary costs, economic loss, or emotional distress, arising from reliance on content generated by this Service. Only PetCare AI Pty Ltd, as a separate legal entity, is a party to your agreement with us; no individual associated with the company is personally liable. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes statutory rights you cannot waive. In particular:

• Australia: consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
• United Kingdom: your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
