PetCare AI account deletion
Delete your PetCare AI account and data
This page explains how users of the PetCare AI app and website can request deletion of their account and associated data. PetCare AI is operated by PetCare AI Pty Ltd.
Request account deletion
- Delete it in PetCare AI when you can sign in. In the mobile app, open More and choose Delete account. On the website, open Settings and use the Delete account control in the Account tab.
- Request deletion by email when you cannot sign in. Email us from the address linked to your PetCare AI account, or include that account email in the request so we can verify it.
Deletion requests are handled at privacy@petcareai.com.au. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing the request.
Before you delete
If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first through Manage subscription in PetCare AI. If you no longer have access to the app or website, email us and we will help you start the deletion request.
Data deleted with your account
When your PetCare AI account deletion is completed, we delete or anonymise personal data associated with the account, including:
- Account identity data and authentication access.
- Pet profiles, pet avatars, reminders, and saved pet details.
- Triage and behaviour chat sessions, messages, assessments, bookmarks, uploaded triage photos, and training plans.
- Missing-pet reports, related sightings, and public missing-pet alert data associated with your pet profiles.
Retention and exceptions
We complete deletion or anonymisation within 30 days of the verified request. Some records may be retained where required by law, such as payment or tax records, which may be retained for up to 7 years.
